Cathy's wedding (Oct 2)

Wery proper wedding!

Positively stunning maid of honor (Steph), fortunately Cathy presented an absolutely gorgeous bride.

Old folks and little children dancing!

Fantastic Rosemary dish. Rich just had two ziti and said how fantastic it was, the rosemary and spices infusing everything

Cathy grabbed me for the first dance after the wedding party had their turn, and everyone in it was supposed to grab someone from the audience.

Trying to dance cotton-eyed joe behind Manda, Bobby and i trying to learn from her.

Cape Cod and New York with Beautiful People

Been quite the past week and i better get some thoughts and memories down in journal form.

Dan and Shannon drove me up to Grandpa's on Thursday. We got some work done, got a good start on setting up Grandpa's new computer, and Grandpa took us out to dinner at Van Rensselear's, where we peer-pressured Shannon into joining in on the highly-touted salad bar, even though she felt she had enough on order with the main course.

Work collective at the cape and time in NYC.
Getting to Montreal with H.

Drupal Work Collective retreat at Grandpa's

Dan:
a web site is not just a product, it's a relationship

Grandpa:
require the military buy made in USA
just in the textile industry alone, jobs produced in the U.S. by making military uniforms here

Talking awareness and business with Dan and Shannon

Dan: The food that burnt, and the laundry – you start something, and you try

[re my laundry disaster, i said]
even more fundamental root problem. I need to communicate.
We stop talking about something because it's easier to us to go do it our way than convince others of the way to do it.

called K for her birthday

At exactly after midnight here.

She started to say, not 'till tomorrow, and then caught herself.

I say, "Your birthday lasts from when the day starts where you were born to the end of the day in the farthest time zone you will ever visit."

She says, "It is an intergalactic holiday."

Ran Zelda to the post office (after running back for the key) and bank to deposit the timely sponsorship reimbursement.

Then stood on the corner with the weekly peace vigil... and their somewhat monthly meeting after that. Let's not talk about the web development repercussions from this.

Made a recipe from Dani's twitter that came in at the perfect time

Tomatoes, red onions, cut into thick slivers. Olive oil, garlic salt, pepper, herbs de provence. Roast @ 300 for 90min; you will taste LOVE.

K liked very much.

Wonderful weekend at Skillshare

Fri - K and i returned from the cape.

D's alive and she has a dumpster!

Put our carpet in it in a midnight operation.

Then i went in the Insight to pick up A, only 5 minutes late from her Chinatown bus's slightly late arrival.

Got home alive and over the weekend it was all Boston Skillshare, excellent.

First evening dinner at Addis Red Sea Ethiopian in Boston.

Second evening dinner went for Venezuelan

Viva Mi Arepa

Venezuelan food in West Roxbury, we arrived just after they closed (at 7 p.m. on Sunday) and the woman apologized, but then, as we left, asked if we had come far. On learning that A was up from New York City and we had come from an event in Boston to come eat there, she told us to wait, and went in back and got some leftover empanadas, which were not vegan but i was told were excellent.
