An unknown male attempted to drug a woman at the Occupy Seattle camp at SCCC. Occupiers from the camp stopped what was going on and ran the suspect out of the camp. The woman received medical care from our staff and authorities were notified at approximately 9PM.

The suspect remains at large. He is described as a thin white or latino male between 5'8" and 5'10" with short black hair and a thin mustache. He left the scene wearing an offwhite flannel long sleeve shirt and blue long johns. If anyone has any information regarding this incident please call the Seattle PD hotline at 800-222-TIPS.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the woman involved. Sexual violence is not accepted at Occupy Seattle. We will take steps to make sure the assailant is caught and this does not happen again. -FKS
