The Map: Ireland trip on Google maps.

Aggregated advice for this first trip to Ireland, for some Agaric RDF for Drupal work in Galway (the guy who knows what he's talking about in this video is the one organizing the code sprint) and then some wandering.

Feel free to contribute. The bar is not high, one friend who shall remain anonymous told me to see Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.

These twitters are in reverse order:

bangpound: @I3IVIIVI Dublin can be $$$. Don't stay long The Ferryman Pub is a cheap clean stay in center of town.

bangpound: @I3IVIIVI Derry, Connemarra, Waterford, the whole place is neat. Dublin has good vegan eatin' at cornucopia. Bray is old-fashioned fun.

avinunu: @I3IVIIVI if you're going to be in Galway visit Connemara area. Beautiful. You'll need a car.

jackaponte: @I3IVIIVI In Dublin, liked visiting Kilmainham Gaol, the GPO, the Book of Kells. In the North, Derry was incredible, must see the murals.

jackaponte: @I3IVIIVI I really enjoyed visiting Donegal, Yeats' grave in Sligo, Ashford Castle in Cong, various towns in Co. Mayo, and Connemarra.

bangpound: @I3IVIIVI I lived in Dublin for a year. Not much to see there. Donegal (Inishowen) is where my people originate. Belfast is a trip. Get car.

jackaponte: @I3IVIIVI So yeah, gotta say, having a rental car was great there. You can cover so much ground. You'll be in the West, huh?

jackaponte: @I3IVIIVI Nice! I visited Ireland a few years ago & absolutely loved it. My Twitter userpic is a self-portrait on a Dublin bus by R. Liffey.

hostelmana: @I3IVIIVI these are the ones from Northern Ireland: http://bit.ly/3OdM7 (expand)

hostelmana: @I3IVIIVI Aran Islands were interesting. From Dublin there's a train to Belfast where you can visit Giants Causeway http://bit.ly/dJT2V (expand)

codelevelup: @I3IVIIVI don't overlook the Ring of Kerry...and stop along the way to look over cliffs. It's amazing...like a fairytale.

Andrew: Do a tour of the murals of Belfast, both Union and Republican.
