The time has come to ask
some basic questions.

How long should elected officials serve?
Is there still a need for the electoral college?
Should taxpayers foot the bill for election campaigns?
Does our present system truly provide one vote for each person?
Is our political structure so big that officials are too far from those who elect them?

The ideal
A notion in which those
elected truly represent the will
of those who elected them–
for the good of all.

Mom is right, Atlantic Richfield Company is an oil company – ARCO – and I think owned by BP now.

What was their angle? Focus on anything other than the environment? Blame government? Or do they maintain a radical commitment to direct democracy?
