Resolution against resolutions

2002 February 10, Sunday

Be it resolved that the Corporation for the Advancement of Totally Stupid and Useless Projects hereby promulgates to the four corners of this round earth the following resolution:

Whereas resolutions carry no rewards or penalties

And therefore provide no inducement for anyone to pay attention to them

And therefore whereas resolutions can have no effect but to allow putative decision-makers to hear themselves talk

It is resolved that all resolutions are a pointless waste of time to be always avoided.

Approved unanimously by a vote of four to three on the two thousandth and second year of the common era in the second month on the tenth day, a Sunday.
